“The sensation of fresh snow moving underneath my Gentemstick snowboard has brought me back to Hokkaido every winter for twenty years. Usually, I lose interest in a hobby very easily, but snowboarding lets me explore new landscapes, provide lasting memories and great friendships.
It was in Venice where I met Pascal who shares a similar passion for Hokkaido’s constant snow and the snow-surfing style of Gentemstick.
Through his photography, I hope to share our passion and inspiration with you.”

During the winter you will often find him on Japan’s northern Island of Hokkaido snowboarding or in Mammoth Lakes. The titles is quoted from a Haiku poem by Kijo Murakami:
“Although there is a road, the child walks in the snow.”
