Sculptor/Designer
Igarashi creates abstract sculptures with various materials, steel, stone, terra-cotta and wood for buildings and public places. His sculptures are soft and human in its character. In 2003, he and his friends founded the non-profit organization Art Challenge Takikawa in his hometown, Takikawa, Hokkaido to organize Igarashi Art Program for pursuing Art Park Town Plan. He moved completely from Los Angeles to Tokyo in June 2004 after twenty years of living and working there.This beautiful clock is designed by Takenobu Igarashi, a sculpture artist from Japan. After getting a degree in UCLA, Igarashi opened his studio in LA and presented numerous work until he went back to Japan in 2004.
